It's that time of year… my McMaster University social media course is in full swing and I want to introduce the class and their blogs.

This is the third time I've taught the course and as before, topics can be anything the students are passionate about.  Because the group is from communications and marketing, the writing is strong and you can hear people's voices come through.  And because they range in age from recent grads to boomers, you'll find an eclectic array of subjects.

Blogs include: reflections on the long-leash of dog ownership, caffeine-inspired musings on marketing, rolling along on roller blades, cycling and running woman's style, a daily photo journal of the world around us, gluten-free living, living with students from another culture and lots more.

Here's a list of the URLs and Twitter handles. I hope you can visit them and leave a comment or two.  In addition to creating the blogs, people are trying to promote them and build their communities, so any suggestions would be helpful.

Enjoy! (I sure am.)
